The DL-88 Centipede Hostile Environment Truck was a cargo supply truck that was first used by the Robotech Defense Force, then later adopted and modified by various organizations throughout the years.

DevelopmentEdit

With the construction of Moon Base Luna and Mars Base Sara, the United Earth Government (UEG) needed cargo vehicles capable of operating without an atmosphere. The DL-88 Centipede was the vehicle that won the contract award for the all-terrain hostile-environment truck. The cargo area was designed around the standardized 25 cubic meter cargo pallet used by the UEG military spacelift command and was capable of carrying three.

The DL-88, and its many variants performed its role sufficiently for it to be adopted by the Army of the Southern Cross (ASC) and Robotech Expeditionary Force (REF) space forces.
